End of National Preparedness Month

We posted on our Facebook page:

National Preparedness Month draws to a close this weekend. What did you learn this month to help you be better prepared?

Some comments we received:

Comment #1: That’s definitely time for me to update what I have and don’t! Already have the skills just need to materials to back it up. Working on that presently.

Comment #2: It might be a little off the mark, but I learned some new homesteading skills.

Comment #3:
I been practicing with my Kits and cooking outside every day on my stoves and using things from my kits. A good thing now I want to redesign my kits again…

Comment #4: I grew up canning about an acre of garden a year, so I knew how labor-intensive it was. This year, as we had our own record garden output, my kids learned firsthand. And I’m proud to say that, unlike most of their peers, they recognize the value of having a small storeroom full of trusted food.
