Best watch for camping

Comment #1: Accurate navigation requires accurate time keeping. A rugged watch would be a good thing to have.
Comment #2: The sun and stars have proven themselves far reliable than any watch..
Comment #3: I consider a watch a very important tool. Casio G-Shock for me. Sun moon and stars only give a general time of day/night and leaves too much to guess. I want to know the exact real time.
Comment #4: I carry a pocket watch given to me by my grandfather over 40 years ago. He was a coal miner most of which carried them. I choose to carry this when I’m camp/hiking because I have a Suunto Wrist Compass in the place of my normally worn wrist watch. And yes, after 40 years the pocket watch still works like it was new. Gotta wind it once a day but I don’t mind.
