Hi, I thought I would leave a tip on INSULATING a tent in cold weather...

I lived in a 8 x 10 tent for several months in Montana during a hunting trip. I laid insulation on the ground with a tarp over it. Then placed my tent over it. I stacked straw bales around the tent, then put a sheet of plywood on top. Then I draped tarps over it and staked it down.

I heated with just a small camping heater that uses LP, I bought it at Wal-Mart. But in several cases I just used a OIL LAMP. It was great for light and they give off heat!

I hope this helps ya... Lady Survivalist@yahoo.com
