‎Comment #2: 22 states have legitimate organized state militias under the control of the governor of their respective states. For the most part they are now referred to as SDF or state defense forces, because of the stigma associated with the word militia.

Comment #3: I would never talk about it on FB. I would make everyone leave their phones in a building away from where we meet, and I would turn on an rf jammer just in case. Not that I’ve thought about it.

Comment #4: Isn’t it odd though that it was MILITIA that helped secure our independence during the Revolutionary war, yet now the very word brings up notions of terrorist anti government booger eaters. Makes you think, don t it?

Comment #5: Oh yeah. My idea was to buy a huge chunk of land or buy into a huge chunk of land and basically barter system the whole thing my wife does quilts and canned goods trades with other families. Communally we all pitch in and run the land with different jobs. And homeschool our children.

Comment #6: As long as we do not break any laws the government can watch us all they want. I invite them to drop by some time for a cold beer and they can check my place out. I have firearms and plenty of ammo for each. I don’t own anything illegal and they they can search all they want. As long as I have nothing to hide I have nothing to worry about.
