“I have a bag of MRE heaters what are some things I can do with them are there many things they can be used 4″

Some comments we received:

Comment#1: Take a pop bottle, pour in 1 pack of instant coffee, fill with water, replace cap.
place bottle into MRE heater, activate heater, wrap a rubber band around the bottle keeping the heater closed. Hot coffee in minutes.

Comment#2: Don’t use as a hand warmer. The only real good thing you can use them for is the heating of an MREs contents. But you can also use it to make a CS grenade if you know how.

Comment#3: You can make a field expedient crowd dispersant… Add the Tabasco and youve got yourself a pretty efficant makeshift tear gas.

Comment#4: Just for fun grab an empty 1 litre plastic bottle and a roll of duct tape. Chuck the MRE heater powder in the bottle with a cup of water. Get the lid back on and tape the thing up plenty tight REAL QUICK. Hurl at the back of the guardhouse and see how quick the base rapid reaction team move.
