Molasses

We posted on our Facebook page:

Do you have molasses as part of your survival storage? What is your favorite use for it?

Some comments we received:

Comment #1:  Molasses is the waste product of cane sugar, so naturally all the good stuff is in molasses. It’s a fantastic sleep inducer for us insomniacs. A tablespoon in warm milk will knock any child or grownup out like a light.

Comment #2:  Rabbit bait, bear bait, deer bait, squirrel bait, and then as seasoning on them!

Comment #3:  Molasses is high in iron as well, it just doesn’t keep as well as honey. Find a local provider for both and source a couple gallons for your bug-in plan.
