A good all-purpose knife

Some comments we received:
Comment #1: Honestly, I have several cheaper knives I’ve gotten from big box stores for under 15 bucks. They may not hold an edge forever, or be as long lasting as a more expensive one, but since I use mine for Boy Scout camping, and thus have to lend it to a boy who may forget to return it, I don’t really mind. I’ve had good luck with Winchesters, and I’ve even found a $10 Kershaw there at Christmas time.
Comment #2: Becker bk2, great survival knife around 60 bucks. I’d put it up against any 200 dollar knife. For a cheap knife, you will be hard pressed to beat a Mora. The highq robust is the thickest they make.
Comment #3: I’ve been packing a Buck folder for decades….#110 Folding Hunter. I have the plain and the finger groove. Finger groove is carried during hunting season. Better grip when dressing out game.
Comment #4: My BOB includes a Victronox “Tinker” Swiss Army knife, because of the multiple tools… a Leatherman multitool… and I plan to add the SEALpup once I can shell out the $100… though a knife and gun show is a great place for bargains,
