Comment #2: Sling shot bow, with a good sharp broadhead. Packs away nice. The sling shot can be used as a snare trigger also. Many uses.
Comment #3: At the risk of sounding sarcastic, the best bow is the one that You can shoot. It’s like asking who makes the best car, everyone has their own opinion. I like a Martin.
Comment #4: Best pack bow for the money is the samick sage takedown recurve. The lightest and smallest that’s still effective is the Spectre compact takedown survival bow. The sage will run you about $130 and the spectre goes for about $70
