Comment #1:  Cooking, water purification, water storage, inpromtue weapon/knife, a bed, a hammock, shelter.

Comment #2:  Water storage, snorkel, cooking foods in(primitive steaming), measuring tube for liquids, grains..etc, weapon(spear, knife or blowgun), lethal traps, fishing pole.. just a few of the many endless uses.

Comment #3:  We have a large stand of bamboo on the side of the road. I saw an older couple cutting them and stripping them. I wanted to ask what they were doing but was late for a meeting. I had asked my dad and he says he uses them as a make shift trellis for his tomatoes.

Comment #4:  Storing and purifying water, transporting a tinder ball with an ember. Also good for roofing and water gathering.
